It was so lovely to be greeted by our students and have a chat to them on my return from the National Catholic Education Conference, it brought such joy to my day. The conference was a great opportunity to listen and talk with leading educators from around the globe. The strategic priorities of the NCEC are to enliven faith formation and religious education, support the continual improvement of educational outcomes for all students and to respond to the needs of families through strong advocacy for recurrent and capital funding, legislation and policy. I look forward to sharing with our staff and wider community the knowledge and insights gained.

A quick reminder that there is a pupil free day tomorrow and our front office will also be closed. The ELC and Vacation Care will be open tomorrow for families.
|
Please support our P & F fundraiser next Tuesday. Our classes have produced a gorgeous art piece that can be transformed into a wonderful Christmas gift. The art will be on display from 3-5:30pm next Tuesday 13th September in the library. It is also a nice opportunity to say hello to our staff and families.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing support of the school. I appreciate the open and honest communication and I hope that this continues. I welcome parent communication at any time.

Have a wonderful weekend.

It was great to see Dexter Bolwell, a previous student of St Francis, come to our school last week to perform at the MacKillop Music Performance..
