week 3 Mary Mackillop
Dear Families and Friends,
We are all very excited about our biannual concert which is occurring tomorrow night. We look forward to seeing families and friends on the oval for a night of entertainment, laughs and fun under the stars. The night begins at 5:00pm with some delicious options for dinner. Students will need to be in their classroom by 6:30pm for the concert to begin at 7:00pm.

Last week we welcomed Miss Sarka to Room 1. Miss Sarka is studying primary teaching at Charles Darwin University and is completing her teaching practicum with us for the next three weeks.
The last Friday in July is dedicated to schools celebrating Tree Day. Each year, more than 3000 students participated nationwide in environmental activities that educate individuals about the world around them. On Sunday the 1st of August it was National Tree Planting Day.
Litchfield Council were very excited to get behind this initiative and approached all schools within the Litchfield Municipality to offer trees for planting in recognition of this day, at no cost to the participating schools.
We were very lucky indeed to receive a number of trees from the Litchfield council as part of these National Tree days.

Please let your child's teacher know if you are unable to book your interview.

Date for your diary; on Friday 10th of September all Catholic Schools will be closed for students. All staff are required to attend this day as part of the professional learning in Catholic identity.

Next week we host Healthy Harold and the Life Education van. We are all very much looking forward to the visit.

Today your child's teacher has sent home their curriculum letter for the term. Please have a read to find out what your child/ren will be learning about this term.

I will see everyone tomorrow at the concert.

Grow in Wisdom and Love.
