Prayer week 1
Dear Families and Friends,
Welcome to Term 4. It was wonderful to greet a very excited and enthusiastic group of children this Monday at our morning assembly. Listening to their stories, everyone has enjoyed their holidays and are ready for a sensational term.
I know for myself I will be taking advantage of every opportunity to fill myself with memories this term.

This term we welcome Chloe Dando to our school. Chloe has already made a 'ton of friends' and is enjoying the welcoming and caring culture of our school.
Rotary
Last term we received some beautiful picture books from Rotary. Rotary, who supports education for all children and literacy for children and adults, presented the books to us as part of Basic Education and Literacy Month. Thank you very much to Rotary for their generosity, the children have already got their noses stuck in them!
We are sad to share with everyone that Sam Playford our Preschool Teacher in the Early Learning Centre has resigned from her position. We are very sad to say goodbye to Miss Sam and I know the children will miss her very much. We would like to wish Miss Sam all the very best in her new role.
Mr Michael, our OSHC coordinator, has kindly agreed to become our Preschool Teacher in the interim.
During the holidays we met with the contractors who will be installing the new playground. Thank you to everyone who has supported the school in our fundraising efforts to enable this for the children.
Our current equipment will also be given a bit of a facelift.
The money raised for our Pie Day planned for next Thursday will also support the playground upgrade.

Thank you to all our families who support our 'Cash for Container' collection scheme. Our most recent deposit earned the school $262. This money will go directly towards paying for resources for our kids.

Ms Robbins took sick leave in 2019 when she was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned and Ms Robbins will be focusing on her health and wellbeing for the remainder of the school year. I know that you will all keep Karen in your prayers and thoughts and wish her a speedy recovery.

Our 2022 enrolment interviews are currently being held. Please contact the office on 8988 1212 to book your interview. Our Transition Orientation mornings will be held on Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th of November. Please let extended family and friends know.

Looking forward to a super term.
Grow in Wisdom and Love.
