A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
|
|
As Mother's Day approaches this Sunday, May 11th, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible mothers and mother figures who enrich the lives of our students. Your love, support, and dedication are the foundation upon which our children thrive. I hope this weekend is filled with joy, appreciation, and moments of connection with the special women in your lives.

As a school we will mark Mother’s Day on Friday morning with a special breakfast, activities and a liturgy. I would like to invite families to join us at school for the morning. The P&F will also be hosting a Mother’s Day stall where students will be able to buy something for those special people in their lives.

We are very excited to partner with AFLNT to offer a free after school Auskick program later this term. The 5 session program will begin on May 22nd with all sessions taking place at 3pm on Thursday afternoons. Students attending After School Care will be taken to and from the sessions and supervised. Students not attending After School Care will need a parent/guardian to be with them. To register please use this link: https://www.playhq.com/afl/register/80c78a

After over 15 years at St Francis of Assisi, our canteen manager Mr Steve has decided to take some well deserved leave later in the year and then retire. Mr Steve has been something of an institution at the school, keeping so many children well fed and happy over the years. He will be sadly missed by the students, staff and families of the school community. On behalf of everyone at St Francis of Assisi, I want to wish him all the best for the future.
