A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
|

This week to acknowledge Pentecost we held a special liturgy with Father Rodrigo. Pentecost commemorates the descending of the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the church, also known as the birthday of the church. Coming 50 days after Easter Sunday and following the Feast of the Ascension, Pentecost marks the end of the Easter period in the Liturgical Calendar.

During the liturgy Father Rodrigo spoke of the role the Holy Spirit can play in our lives. Father said that the Holy Spirit was like a guiding light that can help us when we are lost and confused. He said that the Holy Spirit can help us make the right decisions and choose the right path.

It was wonderful to see so many of our mothers, grandmothers and special friends at school last week as we celebrated Mother’s Day. A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made this event run so smoothly especially Mr. Steve for his wonderful breakfast!

Dust off your dancing boots and get ready for a night of fun at the Ultimate Hoedown, Friday 31st of May, 6pm to 8pm. The Hoedown is the major P&F fundraising event for the year and also promises a great night of family entertainment.
|
There will be a disco, games, raffles and prizes on the night. Entry, door prize and dinner are all included for $10, with dinner order forms having been sent home. The P&F would like to remind everyone that this is not a drop off and go event. Parents must remain at the Hoedown with their children.
