A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

unnamed
Hi All,

This week we celebrate Children’s Book Council of Australia annual Book Week. We will mark the occasion with a range of activities including a dress-up day on Friday. We encourage all students to dress up as a character from their favourite book. We will hold a special assembly on Friday August 23rd at 8:25am.

Mrs Honey is also running a Book Fair in the library for the remainder of this week and into next week. A range of wonderful books and other items are available for purchase. Please see the poster included in the newsletter for opening times.

Father’s Day Celebration
We would like to invite all families to join us for our Father’s Day celebration on Friday, August 30th. The celebration will begin with breakfast from 7:30am which will be followed by activities and a special mass.

2025 Enrolments and Information Session
Enrolments are now open for Transition 2025. If your child turns five before June 30th 2025 they are eligible to start school next year. Please contact the office for an enrolment pack or to arrange a tour. There will be an information session held on Thursday, September 12th at 5:30pm in the library.

Sensory Circuit Painting
I am pleased to announce that the first stage of our Sensory Circuit paintings has been completed. Three artworks have been completed by local artist Adrienne Wade from Art4Paths on the footpath area in front of the library. The artworks are designed to encourage movements that help students regulate their emotions. This is in the first stage of a planned path around the school. The works were made possible through the Federal Government’s Student Wellbeing Boost funding.

With Faith in their Future
