Dear Families and Friends,

On Sunday we joined the wider community in the ANZAC Day march and ceremony at the Humpty Doo Hall and Cenotaph. The choir represented our school beautifully when leading everyone in the National Anthem.

Thank you to our families, friends and staff for joining us and representing our school.

On Tuesday we also participated in a service to commemorate the men and women who have served our nation in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations so that we can enjoy the freedom and lifestyle that we have.

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news with everyone that Shannon Morgan has resigned from the school as she and her family are relocating to Queensland. Shannon has worked at St Francis in a number of roles since 2009, most recently in the role of Deputy Principal, Curriculum Coordinator and Data Informed Practitioner and has made an impact on many children and staff during her time at St Francis. I personally would like to thank Shannon for her support, our laughs and friendship. I hope that when you think back on your time at St Francis you can't help but smile.

Next Sunday we celebrate Mother's day and the special women in our lives. At St Francis we would like to show our appreciation for these wonderful women by inviting them to breakfast on Friday the 7th May. This will be followed by a liturgy and the Mother's Day Stall organised by the P&F. Breakfast will be served from 7:45.
