A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

This Sunday marks the Christian celebration of Pentecost, which is the end of the Easter Season. The Feast of Pentecost takes place 50 days after Easter and commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost is often referred to as the "Birthday of the Church," as the Holy Spirit allowed Jesus' disciples to spread the Gospel, marking the official beginning of the Church's public mission.

Catholic Education Northern Territory has released the latest strategic plan - Towards 2029. This document reflects extensive consultation through 2025, with continued work in 2026 to finalise it. It is inspired by Luke’s Gospel and the disciples’ encounter on the road to Emmaus, and it outlines our shared vision, mission, and values through four strategic directions: Living Catholic, Empowering Excellence, Igniting Potential, and Striving Together. This is the final year of our school's current strategic plan cycle, and we have engaged education consulting group 'tatu' to support the development of a new strategic plan for 2027-2031. The team from 'tatu' will be onsite in August to carry out focus group sessions with staff, students and families.

A Night in Italy school fundraiser

A big thank you to the family members and staff who have put their hands up to help plan our upcoming 'A Night in Italy' school fundraiser. It is not too late to help out - if you can assist in any way, please contact the school office. The theme has been chosen to reflect that heritage of St Francis of Assisi as 2026 is a Jubilee Year for St Francis. It promises to be a wonderful night for the whole family!
