A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
|

I just wanted to let everyone know of a few staffing updates for Semester Two. Firstly, I am very pleased to announce that Josephine Santos has agreed to take on the Middle Z class for Monday to Thursday for the remainder of the year. Clare Nolan will take the class on Fridays.
|
We also welcome Tara Venn in a part-time capacity to take Visual Art lessons and provide literacy support in Senior W. Tara has been a casual relief teacher at the school throughout this year and is well known to students and staff.

Sadly, Grace Dagger has informed me that she has accepted a new role and will be leaving
|
St Francis of Assisi ELC in August. Grace has shown great professionalism and care during her time with us especially while acting as centre Director. I wish Grace all the best with her new and exciting future role.
|
Melissa Hall and Porcha Johnson have also moved on from their positions in the ELC and OSHC. We wish them all the best with their future endeavours. We are currently working through the recruitment process to fill these positions.
|
This term we welcome some new students and their families to the St Francis of Assisi school community. Dean has joined Junior P, Crystal has joined Middle S and Jayden has joined Senior W. I am sure that the students and staff will make them feel welcome.

We had a wonderful celebration of NAIDOC Week last week. Tasha Roe, Cynthia Page and Brad Talbot worked through a series of activities with all students. As a school and ELC we made a special NAIDOC Week mural which is now on display at the front of the school. A big thank you to Tasha, Cynthia and Brad for running the event!
|
Happy Canteen are now providing our ELC, OSHC and school canteen services. Canteen ordering and payment is now done via the Spriggy App. Payments will not be accepted at the school office and no orders will be accepted without payment. Orders need to be submitted by 8:30am each day.

Conversations for Learning meetings will take place on Tuesday July 29th and Thursday July 31st. Please book an interview using the link below:

Please note that students who have an Educational Adjustment Plan will have more detailed meetings later in the term and do not need to book Conversations for Learning meetings.
