A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Over the past two weeks, we have celebrated the lives of two extraordinary women of faith: Saint Mary MacKillop (Feast Day: August 8) and Mary, Mother of God (Solemnity of the Assumption: August 15). Together, these special feast days have offered us a beautiful reflection on what it means to live out one’s faith with compassion and hope.

Bullying No Way! National Week of Action
|
This week, our school is taking a stand together for the ‘Bullying No Way!’ National Week of Action. Students across the school have been learning what is bullying and what steps should be taken if we see or experience bullying at school. As part of our School-wide Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan anyone can make a bullying report to any staff member and it will be acted on.
|
It is so important that as a school we work in partnership with families on these keys issues. Below you will see attached the 'What is Bullying?' and 'Reporting and Response Process' posters. Next week is the annual Children's Book Week with this year's theme being: Symphony of Stories. To celebrate as a school we will have a dress-up day on Friday August 28th. We encourage all students and staff to come to school dressed as a character from one of their favourite books. We will hold a special assembly from 8:30am in the Undercover Area - all welcome!

Our wonderful librarian Miss Honey has also been busy organising a Book Fair. Students will able to purchase a range of wonderful books with the fair opening on the morning of Friday August 28th. For more information and opening times please see the flyer below.

2027 Enrolments and Open Day
|
Enrolments for 2027 are now open! If you or someone you know have a child who is starting school next year please complete the enrolment application via the school website. Places especially in Transition are limited so please complete applications as soon as possible.
|
The school and ELC will also be holding an Open Day on Saturday August 29th between 10am and 12pm. This will include a meet and greet with staff, guided tours, children's activities and interactive learning displays.
