A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear St Francis Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and spent precious time with your families. I hope all the strong and wonderful women in our community had a very lovely day on Sunday! I would like to thank all women in our school and community who work so hard to care for our students in many ways. It was so fantastic to have so many families join us on Friday at our breakfast and celebrations. I know the staff and students had a wonderful morning with you all. A big shout out to Rachel and Melanie for organising the Mother's Day Stall and all those that assisted. The students were so excited to give their mum a special gift.

Congratulations to our Year 3 and 5 students on their successful start to NAPLAN. All students are to be commended on their positive and relaxed attitude. They worked diligently and gave it their best effort. All students who miss assessments due to illness will be able to complete them if they return in the 2-week window.

We will be show casing our school at the Fred's Pass Rural Show this weekend. The staff look forward to meeting people in the community and chatting to them about all the great things happening in our school. If you are going to the show please come and say hello and you are welcome to join us, we will be there from 8-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Our transition students will be setting the stage on fire at our assembly on Friday. We look forward to their performance.
