NAIDOC Week is celebrated from the 3-10 July 2022. We have been celebrating this week across our school. We have had a guest speaker, Michelle On, sharing her expertise and knowledge across the grades. She shared with each class indigenous creation stories, ancient knowledge, native foods for each season, ethno engineering practices, caring for country and connecting together cultural and science knowledge. The students learnt so much from Michelle and I hope they share their knew learnings with their families. The students participated in many classroom activities to enrich their understanding and linking in with the 2022 theme ‘Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!’ Please join us on Friday for our NAIDOC Liturgy at 8:30am.
