Hello St Francis Families,

Term four has arrived, with a really good rhythm evident. The vibe in the classrooms is calm, with the children happy to embrace everything that the term has to offer. Our teaching and learning focus will continue right up until the end of the school year, with many memorable moments being created.

This leads me into introducing the HUMPTY DOO HEROES! Our staff have been collaborating behind the scenes to prepare for a whole school project based learning experience. The students will be motivated and challenged as they engage in a real-world and personally meaningful project that links in with our school values and beliefs. The students will further develop their critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication skills.

The staff are very excited to share this with their students. At the end of Week 6 the students across the school will share their learning with our families. Watch out for updates. Week 6 will be action packed for our HUMPTY DOO HEROES!

We congratulate all the Year 5/ 6 students for their innovative 3D designs and efforts. We have class representatives attending the Makers Empire showcase today to share their project with students from other schools and gain many new creative and design thinking skills. We look forward to them sharing this with their peers.

I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine.

God bless,
Jen
