Dear Families and Friends,

Tomorrow is Sports Day at St Francis of Assisi. The children have been working very hard in their sports lessons developing their running, long jump, hurdles and other skills ready for a day of athletic prowess. Our Sports Captains have also been working very hard making preparations for the day. We are looking forward to having family and friends spend the day with us. There will be coffee and cake organised by our P&F association for you to all enjoy.

Next week we welcome Makybie Robb to the school. Makybie will be completing her vocational work placement in the office as she is currently undertaking her Certificate 1 in Business.

Our biannual We Are One Concert is rapidly approaching. Classes have begun to choreograph their dance routines and notes about costume requirements have begun to be sent home. Please put the date of Friday the 6th of August into your diaries and send the message out to family, friends and former students of the school to come along and enjoy the evening with us.

Vacation Care will once again be offered through the school these holidays. Please ensure your booking forms are handed in to the office by Wednesday next week. The program looks very exciting and is available in the newsletter.

Families thinking about enrolling their child into MacKillop next year for Year 7 need to submit their enrolment documents before Friday the 24th of June. Enrolments places are filling up fast.

Our monthly Board meeting will be occurring on Monday evening. Please speak to any of our Board parent representatives if you need anything addressed.
