week 6 - covid caritas (002)
Dear Families and Friends,
As I sit and ponder our week here at St Francis of Assisi I feel very grateful to live in the Northern Territory. I am thankful to have school return relatively quickly and be able to resume business as normal. This includes our annual Book Character Parade which will be happening tomorrow morning at 8:30 in the undercover area. We would love to have family and friends join in the fun of the parade and ask that you ensure you check-in using our QR code and maintain a social distance where you can.
We also invite families to take advantage of the Book Fair that Miss Honey has organised in the library, there are quite a number of interesting and exciting books for purchase.

Last week we welcomed Zeike Bradley to our school. Zeike, who already knows a number of our students, has settled very quickly into our routines even with the snap lockdown.
There are only four weeks left of term 3 and these are full of events and celebrations. Next Friday we invite all our Dads and father figures to school to enjoy breakfast with us, followed by an assembly presented by Room 2. We will also host a Father's Day stall organised by our Parents and Friends team.

Art Show invitation
From 3:00 on Thursday the 9th of September, we will have our annual Art Show. The children have been very busy creating masterpieces that families can purchase to be printed on a variety of items; these make great Christmas presents for extended family members.
