Dear Families and Friends,

Today silence fell across St Francis of Assisi and each state and territory for one minute as Australia commemorates those who have died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Remembrance Day has evolved since it was first marked by allied countries after World War I, in which more than 60,000 Australians lost their lives.
November 11 is now observed around the world as a day to remember the sacrifice that countless people have made in service to their country.

We thank families and friends for your ongoing support and understanding with changes to school settings through this recent lockout. We are truly grateful to have been able to be in the position to remain open and have your children at school each day.
Please continue to check in using the QR code, use hand sanitiser and if you or a member of your family is unwell, please stay at home.

This week we received information, which we have sent home to families, in regards to trial changes to the school bus route for students that will begin on Monday. If families have feedback on this trial please contact Public Transport on 8924 7297 or email on public.transport@nt.gov.au. The letter is also available within this newsletter.

Thank you to all families who have already completed the information for our survey. The information collated through the survey will inform our strategic direction for 2022. Please click on the link to complete the survey St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School 2021 Survey (google.com)
The survey will be closed on Monday the 22nd of November.

We are thoroughly enjoying our 2022 enrolment interviews which are currently being held. Please contact the office on 8988 1212 to book your interview. Our Transition Orientation mornings will be held on Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th of November. Please share this information with extended family and friends.
A date for your diaries is the Rural Community Carols by Candlelight on Saturday the 27th of November from 5:30pm. The St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School Choir will once again be performing at the carols.
This is a wonderful family friendly event that we can all enjoy being part of the community.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Grow in Wisdom and Love.
