Dear Families and Friends,
We are thrilled to host the Mango Squad, two of the Hot100 announcers to our school at this week's Friday morning assembly. They will visit the school and speak with the students and teachers and distribute mangos. This will happen after the class assembly which this week is Room 2's. We hope you can join us.
Yesterday I attended the MacKillop Catholic College Year 12 Graduation Mass for 2021. I was very proud to watch four of our former St Francis of Assisi students graduate. We wish them all the best for the future as they begin this very exciting next chapter.

Sadly it was announced recently that the Student Banking program through the Commonwealth Bank will finish at the end of this year. The Student Banking program has been part of schools for the past 90 years and for myself personally I remember bringing to school each week my little Commonwealth Bank passport and depositing my money. A letter detailing further information will be sent home to families.

We are very proud of our Vacation Care Program and staff, who have received a draft report following their Assessment and Rating visit, which was completed during the October Holidays. We received a rating of 'meeting' for all seven quality areas, with an overall rating of 'meeting'. Well done to Mr Michael, Miss Michelle and Miss Sam in Miss Michelle's absence.

Next week we will be hosting our Transition Orientation mornings. We are very excited about welcoming the newest members of our school community and meeting their families.

Also next week we will be hosting our Mission Week activities. All monies raised throughout Mission Week will go directly to our Parishes in the Northern Territory. Further information is available in the newsletter or via class dojo. Our final activity for the week will be 'Crazy Socks'. I hope to see as many crazy socks as possible running around on feet next Friday.

Thank you to all families who have already completed the information for our survey. Currently we have received 14 responses. The information collated through the survey will inform our strategic direction for 2022 which is very important as we are on a continuous pathway of improvement and wanting to do things better. The survey will be closed on Monday the 22nd of November.
A date for your diaries is the Rural Community Carols by Candlelight on Saturday the 27th of November from 5:30pm. The St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School Choir will once again be performing at the carols.
This is a wonderful family friendly event that we can all enjoy being apart of the community.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Grow in Wisdom and Love.
