Dear Families and Friends,
On Monday we shared the news that Bernadette Morris, a staff member of the Catholic Education NT family, has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bern's family and friends. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to have known Bern and for her to have been part of our lives.

This term we will spend our Monday morning assemblies focusing on our school core values which include respect, courage and justice. We encourage families to discuss these with their children.

At our last School Board meeting, we ratified a number of policies including homework, school fees and behaviour management. These are available on the school website.

Thank you to all the families who came along to our Art Show last Friday. The children were very proud of their masterpieces. Please remember that orders for the artwork close tomorrow.

We are asking families to engage with our annual survey which informs our strategic direction for 2021. Please click on the link which will take you to the survey.

Please keep in mind that Transition Orientation dates are the 25th and 26th of November. There are times available for school tours and enrolment interviews. Call 8988 1212 for further information.

Next Friday we celebrate World Teachers Day. Our staff at St Francis always do a marvellous job, this year with all the challenges they continued to be dedicated, professional and committed for every student at our school. We want to revel in this and so we are asking families to get involved too! On Friday the 30th take a photo in your sunglasses and post it to social media, either on your own or with family or friends, to say a big thank you to teachers and celebrate the bright future of teaching. Use these tags on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn: #thankteachers #brightfuture @aitsl
We will have a special assembly on Friday to celebrate World Teachers Day. Families and friends are welcome to join us. The Parents and Friends will also provide morning tea.

Looking forward to seeing everyone wear their favourite footy team colours tomorrow.
Grow in Wisdom and Love.
