Dear Families and Friends,
This week we have been enjoying the talents and skills of our students in our annual talent show 'St Francis Got Talent' coordinated by the School Captains. We have been entertained by singers, dancers, comedians, musicians and storytellers. We thank the School Captains for all their work in ensuring the success of this event and those students who had the courage to share their gifts.
Kel McLachlan Fundraiser
Kel is a former student of St Francis. When he was in Year 6 he decided to grow his hair to see how long he could get it by the end of Year 9. Over the past three years, he has seen how the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave, has helped those diagnosed with this terrible disease and is trying to find a cure.
So all that hair will be coming off on Saturday the 28th of November.
Please consider sponsoring Kel on his donation page: http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/kelmclachlan or come along to the Humpty Doo Golf Club from 6pm on the 28th of November to show your support when it all comes off!!
We are asking families to engage with our annual survey which informs our strategic direction for 2021. Please click on the link which will take you to the survey before Friday, when the survey will close https://forms.gle/SvNdpj4d9oBxCh7T9

Please keep in mind that Transition Orientation dates are the 25th and 26th of November. There are times available for school tours and enrolment interviews. Call 8988 1212 for further information.

Tomorrow we celebrate World Teachers Day. Our staff at St Francis always do a marvellous job, this year in particular with all the unique challenges, they continued to be dedicated, professional and committed for every student at our school.
We will have a special assembly on Friday to celebrate World Teachers Day. Families and friends are welcome to join us. Our Parents and Friends Association will also be providing morning tea for the whole staff.
Please take the opportunity to thank your child's' teacher and make sure they know what they mean to you and your child
Grow in Wisdom and Love.
