Dear Families and Friends,

There was a great sense of fun on Wednesday as children walked into school, climbed out of cars and hopped off buses with their silly socks on. Thank you to families for their support of our bush fire appeal fundraiser. With everything that has been happening in our world throughout the year, the SRC and Student Leaders felt that perhaps some had forgotten our fellow Aussies in other states in regards to what happened with the bush fires. It has been very reassuring that this is not the case.

Our 2021 enrolment interviews are currently being held. Please contact the office on 89881212 to book your interview. Transition Orientation will be Wednesday the 25th and Thursday 26th of November. Please put these dates into your calendars.

Thank you to everyone for their response to introducing Vacation Care at St Francis for the October holidays. We are pleased to announce that this will be going ahead, however, it is still only a trial and the service will be reviewed at the end of the holidays. If you require Vacation Care for your children there are still places available, please contact the office for a booking form.

Tomorrow our Year 6 students will be travelling to Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School to compete with other year 6 students from our urban Catholic Schools. Our representative is Milla Flynn and we wish her all the best with her speech giving.

Next Friday, the last day of term we will be celebrating our Saint's feast day, Saint Francis of Assisi, with a mass in the morning. Bishop Charles and Father Giovanni will be joining us for mass, which we are very excited about. After morning tea we will host our water obstacle course as part of our Feast Day celebrations and our Colour run.
We look forward to celebrating on this day.

Grow in Wisdom and Love.
