Dear Families and Friends,
Last Friday our Year 6 students travelled to Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School to compete with other year 6 students from our urban Catholic Schools. Milla Flynn represented our school with maturity and confidence and we were very proud of her and her efforts with the speeches. Congratulations to Sacred Heart who were the winners on the day.

Sadly we share with everyone the resignation of Mr Taylor who works in Room 9 as an ISA. He has been offered an electrician apprenticeship. We wish him all the best as he begins this new career and continues to follow his dreams.

Families are often asking how they can help their children at home. Recently we have installed an app on our school devices, which families can also add to devices at home, called MathsRockx. The app is a tool to support children to learn their Times Tables by singing them to classic hits from some of the world’s best artists!

The School has installed security cameras around the school grounds to keep everyone safe when at school. We thank Can from the Parish very much as he has generously donated his time to install the cameras.

The Commonwealth Bank has opened nominations for their Teacher Awards. If you know someone who is doing a good job, how about nominating them?

Our 2021 enrolment interviews are currently being held. Please contact the office on 89881212 to book your interview. Transition Orientation will be Wednesday the 25th and Thursday 26th of November. Please put these dates into your calendars.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating our Saint's feast day, Saint Francis of Assisi, with a mass in the morning. Bishop Charles and Father Giovanni will be joining us for mass, which we are very excited about. After morning tea we will host our water obstacle course as part of our Feast Day celebrations and our Colour run.
The Colour Run is also a major fundraising event for the school. The aim is to upgrade our current playground and equipment which will benefit all the children coming to our school, so please keep this in mind when sponsoring the children.
We look forward to celebrating on this day and seeing you here to help us join in the fun.

Our Year 6 Graduating Class and the P&F have a combined fundraising event this Sunday, running the kitchen at the Berry Springs Market from 7:00 until 12:30 . Pop down if you can and grab yourself a sausage sandwich or bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Wishing all families a wonderful, relaxing, safe and happy holidays.
We look forward to working with you next term.

Grow in Wisdom and Love.
