Dear Families and Friends,
This Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day and acknowledge our mums and all the special women in our lives.
We welcome all our mum's and special women in our lives to our Mother's Day breakfast and liturgy which will be taking place in the undercover area from 7:45AM on Friday morning.
Following the liturgy our wonderful P&F team will be hosting a Mother's Day stall for our children to buy a special gift.
We hope that all our mum's have a wonderful day on Sunday and are spoilt rotten.

This week we welcome Miss Sam Playford to the school and Room 2. Miss Playford is our Preschool teacher in the ELC and is working in Room 2 completing her final practicum placement for her teaching degree. The children are loving having her work with them.

Next week our Year 3 and 5 students will participate in the national NAPLAN tests. This year will be the first year that we will sit the tests using the online platform. Parents interested in learning more about the online test format should view the public demonstration site https://www.nap.edu.au/online-assessment/public-demonstration-site. These tests will provide useful feedback for the students, teachers and parents.
Parents and carers will learn how to set up devices to help keep their children safe online. The webinar will cover the following:
- the benefits and limitations of parental controls
- how to set up iOS and Android devices for safety
- how to set up popular games and apps like YouTube and Roblox for safety
- using family tech agreements and other parenting strategies to manage online risks
- how eSafety can help when things go wrong.
Registration details can be found at https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents/webinars.
There is also a parent section with downloadable resources available on the website https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents/resources.
Hope to see everyone at breakfast tomorrow.
