Good afternoon families,

We are very excited to get out on the field tomorrow for our Athletics Carnival. It will be a fun day of participation and team spirit. Thank you to our wonderful parents who have volunteered to assist on the field and at the drink and cake stall. Students will gather at 8:15am in the undercover area and then proceed in their faction teams to the oval. We will have cakes, coffee and cold drinks for sale at the carnival.

The carnival will begin at 8:30am. The timetable for our Athletics Carnival is below. These times may vary slightly on the day, please use this as a guide. A huge thank you to Mr Michael for preparing our students so well for their events.

Our Year 5/ 6 students had a wonderful time on camp creating lasting memories of their adventures together. The students were courageous and collaborative as they worked together to climb rock faces, swing on ropes, defeat the monstrous climbing wall and so much more. Camping in tents was a great experience and the refreshing waters of the pool were welcomed.

Camp 2022 was so brilliant because of our amazing staff and parent volunteers. We thank Mrs Allison for organising a great camp and Mrs Wilson, Mr Relton, Mrs Valastro and Mrs Stieber for their efforts. Not only did they give up their time, but they joined in with gusto to share the laughs.

Finally, can I please give a reminder to parents that we have before school care (OSHC) available every morning for students who arrive at school early. Staff are on duty from 8:00am each morning, if your child arrives to school before then, we ask that you please book them into OSHC. Enrolment forms are available at the front office.

Enjoy your weekend,
Jen

Thank you in advance to the families who are providing baked goods to sell at the Athletics Carnival. Please bring the delicious treats to the canteen tomorrow morning.
