Term Two has been full of smiles and we all look forward to a solid term of teaching, learning and loads of fun. Don’t forget to save the date for our We Are One concert as we present for you Night of Stars on Friday 2nd June. It will most surely be a night to remember.

On Friday the 12th of May we will be celebrating all the amazing mum’s and the significant women in the lives of our children with a breakfast starting at 7:30am. We will then pamper these special women followed by a Mother’s Day Liturgy. We would really appreciate if you could send a photo of your child with their mum and the significant women in their lives to the office email - admin.sfas@nt.catholic.edu.au - we would love to create a special presentation to share with everyone at the breakfast. Thank you in advance to our P & F for organising our Mother’s Day Stall where students can purchase gifts.

It is very important that students are aware that the language and words they use are very powerful. I would appreciate all parents speaking with their children and reminding them that they are to use respectful language and reiterate that the tone in which we speak to others should always be polite. It is important that students report instances to staff when they occur so that we are able to deal with them. We have been pleased with how well the students have been displaying the school values of courage, respect and justice at play and we want for this to continue.

We all felt like superstars today with school photographs and television advertisement filming. Well done to all students for their outstanding listening and for displaying their beaming smiles for the cameras. Thanks to our staff for making this very relaxed for all. If you have forgotten to place an order for individual or class photographs, please place your order by Monday morning, orders after this will need to go to MSP Photography directly.

The Crocwise team will be coming to speak to our students on Monday. Our Year 6 leaders will continue leading STEM activities and fortnightly Thursday sport games across the school. These have been a great success and I commend our students.
