A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

unnamed
Hi All,

It was great to have all the students and staff attend a mass at the St Francis of Assisi Church last week. I understand that for a lot of the students it was their first time in the Church. I was very impressed with how the students acted during the mass. Miss Santos offered a prize for the class that was the most respectful and participated the most. In the end, Miss Santos and I couldn't pick a winner so all students were rewarded with an ice-cream!

We wish Father Rodrigo and Father Miguel safe travels as they head off to Portugal to take part in World Youth Day. Held every three years in a different country, World Youth Day is a pilgrimage experience targeted to those aged 16 to 35. This global gathering aims for young people to deepen their faith, experience the universality of the Catholic Church, and commit their lives to Christ alongside hundreds of thousands of like-minded peers.

Healthy Harold Visit
Next week we have a very special visit planned with Healthy Harold and the Life Education Bus coming to St Francis of Assisi. On Tuesday and Wednesday all students will participate in different learning modules delivered by the Life Education team with a focus on health and safety.

Each module is designed to inspire and empower students, providing knowledge, skills and strategies around topics of physical health, safety and social and emotional wellbeing, all through interactive learning experiences. All modules are age-appropriate and aligned to the Australian Curriculum. More information about the modules is attached in this newsletter.

Tell Them From Me Survey
In the coming weeks we will be inviting students, teachers and parents to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.

We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Francis of Assisi.

The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device by using the URL below:
