Dear Families and Friends,
Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week. This is an important time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. This year’s theme is 'More than a Word. Reconciliation takes action.'

On Monday we celebrated 200 years of Catholic Education in Australia. It was a lovely celebration including a very enthusiastic version of the theme song 'Faith in the Future.' We would also like to thank Mrs Langdon, Deputy Director Teaching and Learning and Mr Botha, Deputy Director Schools Services, from the Catholic Education Office, for joining us.

This Wednesday we acknowledged Sorry Day. We began the day with a liturgy and used the opportunity to pause and reflect. The children participated in activities in their classroom while thinking about; what does sorry mean to them? These responses will be displayed on the board featured in the adjacent photo and will be display around the school.

Today we welcome Gymnastics NT to St Francis of Assisi. We hope the children enjoy this opportunity and engage in all the activities.
Please mark in to your diaries Friday the 18th of June as this is the date for our Sports Day. We love having families and friends enjoy spending the day with us.
This Sunday the Year 6 students will be hosting a fundraising event at the Berry Springs Markets. Please support them as all funds will go towards their Year 6 Graduation celebrations.
