Prayer Week 5
Dear families and friends,
On Monday we paused to remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty. We had a special service at 11:00 am on the front lawns lead by our student leaders and attended by Mr Gerry Wood, Ms Kezia Purick and Mr Geoff Perry. A special mention to the community member who gave Ms Purick the hand-knitted poppies for the students to wear on the day and take home.

At the Board meeting last week the members voted upon increasing the School, OSHC and Early Learning Centre fees.
The School fees have been increased by 2.5% after the recommendation of the Finance, Facilities and Resource Committee of the Catholic Education Council.
The Early Learning Centre and OSHC fees have also been increased after a number of years of not increasing the fees. This will ensure we remain financially viable and continue to provide high-quality services. Please refer to the information within this newsletter.

The Catholic Education Office will advertise the role of Deputy Principal (Catholic Identity) this week as we continue to work with them in finding a candidate for this position following the resignation of Shannon Cattell and Megan Nertney.

Once again thank you to families for their outstanding support during Mission Week. A tremendous effort by everyone with $567.35 being raised.

Please take note of the upcoming events in the newsletter and on the term calendar. Our End of School Year and Graduation Mass is on the morning of Wednesday the 11th of December from 9:00 am. We invite all families and friends to attend this wonderful celebration, in particular, the families and friends of our graduate students. On Wednesday night the students, families and staff of the graduating class for 2019 will gather at the Humpty Doo Golf Club to celebrate this wonderful milestone.

We look forward to inviting our 2020 Transition students to their orientation mornings next Wednesday and Thursday. A parent information session and morning tea will be held on the morning of the 20th.

I will be attending Principal Gatherings today and tomorrow at the Catholic Education Office. Mrs Morgan will coordinate the school in my absence.

Grow in wisdom and love

Mel
