Prayer Week 6
Dear families and friends,
This week we welcomed our newest members to the school. They were all very excited to start 'BIG' school and enjoyed the array of activities while meeting and making new friends at the 2020 Transition Orientation mornings.
Last Wednesday Mrs Morgan and a team of students went into Darwin to represent St Francis at the Lego League competition for 2019. They have been working hard over the past months, giving up their recess play, staying behind after school and coming in on Saturdays. The team participated in a number of challenges against students from different schools including Middle schools. They did extremely well and represented themselves as true professionals. Thank you to Mrs Morgan for her time and work with the team.

We are very happy and excited for Ms White who announced an upcoming addition to her little family. On behalf of the whole school community we wish Ms White, Mick and Stevie our congratulations.

Our Christmas raffle tickets have been sent home today. Please be sure to buy a ticket or two to be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Thank you to our community businesses and people who have contributed to these prizes; Area 9, Clare's Cleaning, Amcal Chemist -Humpty Doo, Gerry Wood and our canteen suppliers, Bidfood.

This Saturday our choir will perform at the Rural Community Carols at Bees Creek Primary School. There will be food stalls available from 5:30pm, with the carols beginning at 6:15pm. Please come along and join in the fun while getting into the spirit of Christmas.

Our Yr 6 students will be fundraising for their graduation this Saturday with a BBQ at Bunnings - please head along to buy a sausage or 2 to support them!

Grow in wisdom and love
