Principal’s Message

I feel very privileged and honoured to be the Principal of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School. The school community of St Francis is warm and welcoming with students who want to create a caring and safe learning environment for themselves and each other. We also pride ourselves on our relationship that we have with our local rural community.

Our teachers and school staff work in partnerships with our families and we value this relationship to provide the best educational outcomes for each individual student.

We are a community of lifelong learners connected through faith and shared experiences on a journey of learning where we will find our places in the world. We work to educate the minds and values of today’s students to create inquiring and positive adults in the future.

We believe that ‘before we can teach children how to excel in school, we need to teach them how to have stillness, pay attention, stay on task, regulate and make good choices.’ Larochette –Founder of Mindful life Project. We work on achieving this through a whole school approach to wellbeing and behaviour management. We implement the Australian Curriculum, including Indonesian, the Arts and Digital Learning Technologies to reflect the contemporary world our students live in.

We promote diversity and tolerance at St Francis, people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds are welcome here. We promote the cultural safety, participation and empowerment of children from culturally and or linguistically diverse backgrounds.

To find out more about our great school and how to join us, explore the website or contact the school where one of our friendly staff can assist you further.

Grow in Wisdom and Love
